Charlotte Bobcats’ Brendan Haywood pays power bills for moms

On Sunday, Brendan Haywood surprised the women at the Center of Hope homeless shelter with news that he is going to pay their electric bills for the upcoming year. A native of Greensboro, Haywood was raised in a single-parent home and has made it a goal to help other single mothers in the Charlotte area.
