Mid-Week Football Notebook


Defensive tackle has dramatically increased his production through two games in his final season as a Tar Heel, recording 12 tackles, three tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks to go along with a quarterback hit. The Weldon, N.C. native only posted 16 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss during the entire 2006 season. But his biggest impact on this young North Carolina may come in the form of his leadership abilities. (Inside Carolina)
