P.J. Hairston’s new role had a positive impact on UNC

Roy Williams had been thinking about making the change for a couple of weeks now. It took a 26-point drubbing at the hands of Miami last Saturday for the North Carolina basketball coach to finally pull the trigger and insert sophomore P.J. Hairston into his starting lineup. “We’ve been struggling scoring the ball,” Williams said. “So putting P.J. in there gives us another scorer in the lineup.”
