Closing Strong

North Carolina led Virginia by eight points with 16 minutes to play for the second time this season on Saturday. Unlike January’s collapse in Charlottesville, however, the Tar Heels closed strong and secured a critical 93-81 victory over the Cavaliers. After faltering so completely in Charlottesville, North Carolina played with poise and hit critical shot after shot to hold off the Cavaliers down the stretch. (Inside Carolina)
