Johnny White runs to head of backfield
Posted Sep 11, 2007
Redshirt freshman Johnny White has emerged at the top of North Carolina's crowded tailback rotation. Coach Butch Davis said Monday there has been "a little, tiny bit" of separation at tailback for the Tar Heels, who had been listing White, Anthony Elzy and Richie Rich as starters. White carried nine times for 43 yards and caught four passes for 58 yards during Saturday's 34-31 loss at East Carolina.
