Top-ranked North Carolina slides by No. 13 Rice in College Classic

Rice waited for the big hit that would never come Friday afternoon. All it took for North Carolina to rally were a couple of balls that didn't leave the infield. The top-ranked Tar Heels used a pair of wild pitches to rally for a 2-1 victory over the No. 13 Owls in the Astros Foundation College Classic at Minute Maid Park.
