East Carolina kicker Ben Hartman had felt the agony and he finally experienced the ecstasy. North Carolina and East Carolina each had problems with their placekicking before Hartman, a sophomore from Winston-Salem, overcame his struggles for a game-ending 39-yard field goal that lifted ECU to a 34-31 win on Saturday night.
