Big Recruiting Weekend on Tap for UNC Basketball, Football
Posted Mar 8, 2013
The annual North Carolina-Duke basketball showdown in Chapel Hill is always a big weekend for recruiting, and this year is no exception. Many of UNC's top basketball and football recruits will be attending the game, the most prominent being Andrew Wiggins, the consensus #1 basketball player in the 2013 class who will be on his official visit.
Five-star shooting guard Rashad Vaughn from the 2014 class will also be in attendance, as will current Carolina basketball commits Kennedy Meeks, Nate Britt, Justin Jackson, and possibly Isaiah Hicks. Other top talent includes 2016 PF Harry Giles, 2015 SG Luke Kennard, and 2014 SG Theo Pinson.
A strong contingent of Carolina's top football recruits will also be on campus. Here's the full (unofficial) list of basketball and football recruits expected to visit Chapel Hill this weekend.
