Heels mishandle shot at game-winner

Butch Davis felt comfortable with the outcome of the game resting on Connor Barth's right foot. Unfortunately for Davis and his North Carolina football team, Barth never got a chance to swing his leg with the game on the line. UNC failed to get off a field-goal try in the last minute of the game, and East Carolina took advantage and booted the game-winning kick instead. (Durham Herald-Sun)
