It’s fitting that North Carolina’s P.J. Hairston will draw the defensive assignment on Duke’s Ryan Kelly as both players have been crucial to the surge both teams are riding. With the Tar Heels in need of a jolt heading into the first meeting with Duke, Hairston was thrown into the starting lineup. His addition to the Tar Heels’ top five has been the catalyst for their six-game winning streak.
