Joel Berry gets assists from home team
Posted Mar 16, 2013
When Joel Berry injured his left knee in December, the early prognosis was that the Lake Highland basketball standout could miss 14-16 games. Eight games later, the repeat All-Central Florida Player of the Year came back from surgery to spark a 16-game winning streak that culminated with the Class 4A state championship. "A lot of that was my parents keeping me upbeat," Berry said. "They kept telling me that all I had to do is work hard to get back on the court."
