Early in Kansas' 1990-91 season, starting point guard Adonis Jordan was 30 seconds late for a team bus leaving for Oklahoma State, so Roy Williams left him. The Jayhawks lost the game, beginning Big Eight Conference play 0-2, "and there were some people saying, 'Why did he do that?' "Roy always believed that you have to be consistent and treat everybody the same in terms of enforcing rules. (Raleigh News & Observer)
