Hubert Davis knows how to advance as No. 8 seed

Davis was a sophomore in 1990 when the eighth-seeded Tar Heels defeated No. 1 seed and top-ranked Oklahoma on a buzzer-beater by to advance past the first weekend. Davis now is back with UNC as an assistant coach, and once again the Tar Heels received a No. 8 seed. (Durham Herald-Sun)
