Joel Berry Repeats as Gatorade Florida Basketball Player of the Year

Lake Highland Prep junior (and UNC commit) Joel Berry was announced Thursday as a repeat winner of the Gatorade Florida Basketball Player of the Year award. The 6-foot junior averaged 25.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.1 steals in leading the Highlanders (24-5) to the Class 4A state championship. He has also maintained a 3.27 grade point average while volunteering for school and community service.
