Unfavorable NCAA draw brings good karma for Tar Heels

The NCAA might not have given the North Carolina the most favorable draw in this year’s men’s basketball tournament. But by sending the Tar Heels to Kansas City as a No. 8 seed, they at least gave coach Roy Williams’ team plenty of good karma. UNC plays ninth-seeded Villanova in the opening round of the South Region at 7:20 p.m. Friday at the Sprint Center.
