The win on Friday was the 700th in the career of UNC head coach Roy Williams. He is the fourth active coach to reach 700 victories and the fastest active coach to do so (in 879 games). Williams' record is 700-179 in 25 seasons. Williams improves to 23-0 in his first NCAA game of a Tournament. He is now 62-20 overall in the NCAA Tournament. (GoHeels.com)
