When shots aren’t falling, UNC’s new alignment comes up small

Things turned ugly in a hurry when the shots stopped falling Sunday in a 70-58 loss to Kansas at the Sprint Center. UNC made just 22 of its 73 field goal attempts, including an icy 6 of 21 performance from beyond the 3-point arc – by far its worst showing in its 13 games with the small lineup.
