Joel Berry earns Florida Mr. Basketball for 2nd year in a row

Lake Highland junior Joel Berry was chosen as the winner of the Florida Dairy Farmers Mr. Basketball award for the second consecutive year, it was announced Tuesday. Berry, a 6-foot junior who has committed to North Carolina, averaged 25.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.1 steals this past season in leading the Highlanders to the Class 4A state championship.
