Tar Heels lose Chase Rice to injury


The North Carolina football team suffered a major loss in its season-opening win over James Madison. Junior linebacker , who limped off the field early in the second quarter of the Tar Heels' 37-14 victory at Kenan Stadium, suffered ligament damage in his left ankle and will miss the rest of the regular season. He said Rice is scheduled to have surgery today. (Durham Herald-Sun)
