MaxPreps tabs Harry Giles as national freshman of the year


Wesleyan’s picked up another postseason honor this week following a superlative freshman season. Already a 3-A all-state selection by the NCISAA and a first-team all-area selection by the News & Record, Giles was named the Maxpreps.com National Freshman of the Year on Monday. Giles, a 6-foot-7, 205-pound forward, averaged 12.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in his first season with the Trojans. (Greensboro News & Record)
