Harrison Barnes finishes sixth in NBA Rookie of the Year voting

The NBA announced on Wednesday that Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers is the winner of the Eddie Gottlieb Trophy, given to the best rookie for the 2012-13 season. Golden State Warriors’ Harrison Barnes received eight points and finished tied for sixth with Chris Copeland of the New York Knicks. Barnes received one second-place vote and five third-place votes.
