After North Carolina's first spring practice, receiver Hakeem Nicks was waiting to talk to a reporter when first-year coach Butch Davis summoned him. Davis explained that Nicks was the only player who'd scored a touchdown all day, then asked Nicks to celebrate with him. Davis leaped and bumped hips in the air with an incredulous Nicks.
