Posted May 12, 2013
T.J. Logan, who is headed to the University of North Carolina on a football scholarship, last week had been named the winner of the Pat Best Memorial Award as the 2013 NCHSAA Male Athlete of the Year, and he certainly lived up to his billing. He captured the 100 in a winning time of 10.65 seconds, won the 200 in 21.61, and then anchored the winning four by 100 relay team which broke the tape in 41.99 seconds. He was named the Most Valuable Performer of the men’s championships.
