Colorado manager Walt Weiss living the mile-high life with Rockies
Posted May 12, 2013
Walt Weiss, manager of the Colorado Rockies, lives atop a plateau overlooking Castlewood Canyon, 40 miles south of his Coors Field office. A twisting dirt road, lined with red-topped signs warning trespassers and hunters to turn around, leads to the white automated fence at the foot of his street. His estate, spread across 73 acres, looks out on rim rock, dam ruins and the sun-beaten Creek Bottom Trail.
