Andrew Wiggins' father dreamed of playing for UNC
Posted May 13, 2013
Lots of UNC fans were disappointed that Reggie Bullock left school with one year of eligibility remaining, but replacing him with one year of Andrew Wiggins would be quite a tradeoff. Bullock is from Kinston, the same area where Wiggins' father grew up. Mitchell Wiggins is from Grifton, a small town about 12 miles northeast of Kinston, and he played at North Lenoir High School. Mitchell, who averaged 27 points and 14 rebounds as a 6-4 high school senior, dreamed of playing for North Carolina.
