How Many Point Guards Does UNC Need?

No position has shaped Roy Williams’ decade with the Tar Heels like the point guard spot. Each of his successful seasons has come with an elite player at the position. Each of the Tar Heels’ shakier ones have coincided with instability there. Without question, with Williams’ preferred fast tempo, the play at point guard has been the leading indicator of the Tar Heels’ success and struggles.
