Theo Pinson commits to North Carolina
Posted May 22, 2013
Theo Pinson, a 2014 5-star small forward from Greensboro, NC (Wesleyan Christian Academy), committed to North Carolina Wednesday during a 12:15 pm press conference at his school. Pinson chose the Tar Heels over Georgetown, Indiana, Duke, and Louisville, although popular opinion was that the race was ultimately between UNC and Indiana.
North Carolina now has three commitments in the 2014 basketball recruiting class as Pinson joins point guard Joel Berry and small forward Justin Jackson. The Tar Heels hope to build upon this class by adding a shooting guard to the mix.
