Call from Roy Williams, late-night talk with dad cemented Theo Pinson's decision
Posted May 22, 2013
Theo Pinson walked into his father's bedroom late last week, took a seat and said he wanted to talk. It was after 10 p.m., and Pinson's half-awake dad, Theo Sr., had been struggling to keep his eyes open for the start of another NBA playoff game. Pinson's expression told his father that he should listen closely. "I could see the look on his face that he was pretty serious," Theo Sr. said. Pinson, one of the nation’s top basketball recruits, revealed that he wanted to pick North Carolina.
