Family binds Burney to sports

When runs onto the field as a starter at cornerback for Carolina for the first time on Saturday in the Tar Heels' opening game, it will be a true family event for the redshirt freshman. "It's going to be a great feeling to come out there and play for Carolina," Burney said, "which I have been looking at since I was 6 or 7 years old, coming to the games with my dad and my mom."
