Young Heels to get a trial by fire

When Butch Davis' unveiled UNC's depth chart for Saturday's game vs. James Madison, the reality of the Tar Heels youth became more clear. Nineteen freshmen are listed on the depth chart, and several more players have have never taken a collegiate snap. Included are starting quarterback T.J. Yates and two of Carolina's top tailbacks, Anthony Elzy and Johnny White. Sophomore Richie Rich, who's had just one carry at UNC, is listed as the starter.
