Davis, Tar Heels name six game captains for opener vs. Dukes

North Carolina has named captains for its season-opening football game, Coach Butch Davis said Tuesday after practice. Senior center Scott Lenahan and sophomore wide receiver Hakeem Nicks will represent the offense, senior defensive end Hilee Taylor and junior safety Trimane Goddard will represent the defense, and senior kicker Connor Barth and junior defensive end Garrett White will represent the special teams.
