Tar Heel Duo Named Golden Spikes Semifinalists

Juniors Kent Emanuel and Colin Moran were named as two of 30 semifinalists for the 2013 Golden Spikes Award presented by USA Baseball. Emanuel was named the ACC Pitcher of the Year last week after posting a 9-3 mark in the regular season. Moran joined Emanuel in winning some ACC hardware last week as he became the seventh Tar Heel to be named the ACC Player of the Year. (GoHeels.com)
