Posted May 28, 2013
Atlantic Coast Conference commissioner John Swofford received nearly $1.7 million in compensation during the 2011 calendar year, according to the conference's latest federal tax return. The amount made Swofford the nation's third-highest paid commissioner in 2011, behind the Pacific-12's Larry Scott and the Big Ten's Jim Delany. Swofford made about $100,000 more than the Southeastern Conference's Mike Slive.
