UNC survives Canisius 6-3 in Chapel Hill regional

North Carolina coach Mike Fox earlier this week downplayed the significance of his team earning the No. 1 seed in the NCAA baseball tournament. Despite their high seed - the highest in school history - he anticipated the Tar Heels would still be challenged in their first tournament game. Fox was right. (Charlotte Observer)
