Perhaps that will wear off by Friday afternoon when it welcomes South Carolina to Boshamer Stadium for Game 1, but for now at least, North Carolina has the feel of a refugee on the run. The Gamecocks find themselves in their fourth consecutive super regional, and their head coach, Chad Holbrook, has a homecoming of sorts.
