Football emphasizing simple principles
Posted Aug 25, 2007
Whether the North Carolina football team wins this fall could rest on how well UNC executes several simple concepts — simple in theory, anyway. The Tar Heels need to run the ball successfully, which will relieve the pressure from first-time starting quarterback T.J. Yates and keep the ball in the Tar Heels' hands and away from the opposition. Defensively, Carolina absolutely must stop the run for only the second time since 2001.
