Kendric Williams may start for Tar Heels
Posted Aug 25, 2007

Williams, a 5-11, 195-pound cornerback from Charlotte, was awarded a scholarship earlier this month after working his way through the ranks since joining the program as a walk-on in 2004. Now he wants to be a starter, and that might happen Sept. 1, when North Carolina opens against James Madison.
