Leslie McDonald set to assume starting role as a redshirt senior

The lone player left from his five-man signing class, redshirt senior Leslie McDonald has appeared in 100 career games for North Carolina. McDonald has started only one, but he's the clear frontrunner to take over at shooting guard following the departures of wings Dexter Strickland and Reggie Bullock. "I am the only senior, and leadership is a must for me," he said. (Fayetteville Observer)
