UNC, N.C. State building top-20 2014 football recruiting classes

The recent additions for N.C. State give the Wolfpack the 18th-ranked recruiting class in the nation, right next to rival North Carolina, according to Rivals. The recruiting service ranks the Tar Heels at No. 17. UNC’s 2014 class is led by quarterback and running back D'Ernest Johnson, both four-star recruits. North Carolina has garnered 16 commitments from the 2014 class, including eight in June. The class has four recruits from within the state. (Charlotte Observer)
