Things were finer for Carolina with Mack
Posted Aug 22, 2007
In the nine seasons since Mack Brown's departure, the Tar Heels have faded into oblivion, going 43-63. They've made it to just three bowl games and been through three coaches. The latest, Butch Davis, takes over the program this season. Carolina's biggest victory since 1997? Probably a 16-10 win over Auburn in the 2001 Peach Bowl. Needless to say, the Tar Heels would welcome Brown back with open arms.
