Out-of-state recruiting vital for North Carolina schools

North Carolina may be working the out-of-state angle harder than ever under first-year coach Butch Davis and his recruiting coordinator John Blake. Blake, the former head coach at Oklahoma, is known as a master recruiter. To take advantage of that, Davis has assigned Blake to most of UNC’s nationally prominent recruits. Heading that list is Miami linebacker Etienne Sabino.
