Vince Carter still flying high in eyes of young campers

Mainland sophomore D'Andre Gaines wasn't even 2 years old when Vince Carter etched his name into NBA history in the 2000 slam dunk contest. On Tuesday though, the junior varsity forward was taking lessons from the eight-time NBA All-Star and Mainland alum as part of Vince Carter's Basketball Academy in Daytona Beach. "It's amazing to be in the presence of somebody that's done what he has," Gaines said.
