Averbuch Favored to Repeat as Soccer Buzz Player of the Year

Yael Averbuch, a junior midfielder from Upper Montclair, N.J., is Soccer Buzz's 2007 Preseason Player of the Year, the internet magazine announced Monday. The nod could result in an Averbuch double as a year ago she was Soccer Buzz's Player of the Year, winning the award last December. Averbuch is one of three Tar Heels named to the Soccer Buzz Elite 18, the Preseason All-America Team. (Tar Heel Blue)
