Malik Newman's quick rise continues at the Peach Jam


is currently ranked first in his class by Rivals and second by ESPN and Scout. When he played for USA Basketball’s gold-medal winning team at the FIBA Americas U16 Championship in Uruguay, he was selected as the Most Valuable Player. Newman, who plays for Callaway High School in Jackson, Miss., said he’d received offers from Duke, Florida State, Kentucky, Mississippi State, North Carolina and N.C. State. (Fayetteville Observer)
