Posted Jul 17, 2013
Ty Tomlin verbally committed to North Carolina on Wednesday, several days after visiting Chapel Hill. Throughout the recruiting process, Tomlin, a 6-foot, 215-pound linebacker from Marietta (Ga.), collected scholarship offers from Arkansas, Clemson, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, NC State, and Tennessee. Tomlin is UNC’s fourth verbal commitment from Cobb County, Ga. – Cameron Albright, Allen Artis, and Ayden Bonilla being his predecessors.
