UNC cheerleader gains inspiration after tragedy

Hendersonville native Taylor Fisher is adding a new element to cheerleading at UNC. In addition to tumbling and rousing audiences with UNC chants, Fisher is using his position on the squad to positively impact youth. "I really didn't think I had an influence on young people," Fisher said. "But I've find out that I have a bigger impact than I thought." Fisher, a 21-year-old rising senior and devout Christian, has been cheering at UNC for three years.
