Dallas Mavericks sign free-agent guard Wayne Ellington


The Dallas Mavericks have signed free-agent guard , the team announced Friday. The deal is believed to be two years at $2.652 million per season. The Wynnewood, Pa., native, was a standout at North Carolina. As a junior, Ellington won a national title with the Tar Heels and was named the 2009 Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player. He was drafted in the first round by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2009. (Dallas Morning News)
