P.J. Hairston charged with speeding, careless and reckless driving


North Carolina men's basketball player was charged with speeding and careless and reckless driving Sunday after being pulled over for driving 93 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hairston, 20, was driving a 2008 Acura TL southbound on Interstate 85 outside of Webb, N.C., where he was pulled over at 4:30 p.m. by the State Highway Patrol, said spokesman 1st Sgt. Jeff Gordon.
