WR Austin Proehl Commits to UNC
Posted Jul 29, 2013
North Carolina added its first wide receiver commit for the 2014 class Sunday, when Charlotte (NC) Providence wide receiver Austin Proehl committed to the Tar Heels. The 5-10, 165-pound prospect chose UNC over offers from Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. The offer from the Tar Heels came earlier today and the talented pass catcher jumped on it when he committed to head coach Larry Fedora and wide receivers coach Gunter Brewer.
