Only two weeks ago North Carolina’s Roy Williams reluctantly released a statement about the need to reserve judgment regarding the missteps of rising junior Samuel Peterson (P.J.) Hairston Jr. Hairston had been pulled at a June traffic stop in Durham and charged with marijuana possession and driving without a license.
